webkinzA local gift shop in Jackson, NJ made a promise to donate profits from Webkinz sales to local schools. It has been just about a year since the owners of the White Butterfly gift shop made a commitment to sell stuffed animals known as Webkinz.

For every Webkinz purchased the owners donated $1 to a participating school and for every Lil’Kinz purchased 75 cents was donated to a school. In January the owners presented checks to representatives of the participating schools.
