Webkinz World tutorial how to play - parents guide

With this article I will try to answer many questions that parents and kids may have about Webkinz World. I will also break out each part of the main menu “Things to do” in the sections below. You can click on the link for each section and it will take you to an article about that section of Webkinz World that will further explain. Each section I will break down what it is used for and show you many photos. You will get a in depth view of how to use the controls and what exactly is Webkinz World.things-to-do-menu.png

This picture shows the “Things to do” menu from Webkinz World. This menu will take you to all of the different parts of Webkinz World. You use this to access your pets home, games, the University, Shopping, Post office and Newspaper.

The menu can be accessed from almost any area within Webkinz and is always a good way to get where you are going if you get lost somewhere.

newspaper.jpgWebkinz Newspaper - This is basicly a daily newspaper of whats happening in Webkinz World. This is were you can find out about special events, pet of the month, bonus games, high scores, W tales stories, and the contact us area.

dailyevents.jpgToday’s Activities - This section provides you with links to the events of the days. There are several tabs on the screen for hourly events and daily events. You will find events that could be bonus games and special events. This is a great area to find ways to earn Kinzcash and find items that are on sale.

Webkinz Guide - This is the Webkinz handbook. It is the owners manual and it tries to explain how to use different parts of Webkinz World.

My Room - This is the home were your pets live. It’s called my room but you are able to purchase multiple rooms for extra space or house more pets. You are able to decorate your rooms with furniture, wall paper and many other items. You can change themes or decorate in your own style. You can also invite friends over and grow a garden.

My Pets - This is your Webkinz Pet inventory. This is a dashboard style view that shows all of the Webkinz that you have adopted. It will also show you the overview of their stats (happy, health and hunger). This is one way that you can switch between which pet you are controlling.

Adoption Center - This is exactly what it sounds like. If you are going to adopt additional Webkinz pets that you have purchased this is the area that you go to.

drquack.jpgDr. Quack’s Clinic - This is the local doctor for Webkinz World. You can take you sick pet here to get better.

Kinzville Academy - This is the University of Webkinz world. You take your pets here to learn and get smarter and more athletic.

arcade.jpgArcade - The arcade is one of the gaming section of Webkinz world. It has a bunch of the basic games listed here. Some are single player games and some are multiple player games.

Tournament Arena - This is the other gaming area of Webkinz world. Most of the games in this section are multi player games, were you will be playing against another user in Webkinz World.

Quizzy’s Corner - This is a quiz based game that asks question based on age level and a variety of subjects. This is a great game to play to earn Kinzcash quick. You earn up to 5 kinzcash for each quesiton and you can answer 50 questions in about 15 minutes. That is 250 Kinzcash in 15 minutes, not bad.

DiceKinz - This is a dice based board game that you play against other opponents.

Employment Office - You can work different types of jobs available in the employment office. Your pet can earn up to 350 Kinzcash per job.

Clubhouse - This is a club house were you can meet up with your friends or other Webkinz pets. There are several rooms in the club house were you can exercise and play games. You can also use the Kinz Chat to speak with your friends.

Charm Forest -

W-Shop - This is the shopping area of Webkinz World. This is were you can buy or sell almost anything available in Webkinz. You purchase furniture, food, clothing and other items here.

Code Shop - If you purchase Webkinz related accessories like clothing, charms or other items. They will have a secret code just like your pet came with. You enter the code here and you will get the same item in Webkinz World.

Curio Shop - This is were you can access the Gem hunt. You can also purchase rare items here. Kind of like an antique shop.
Kinz Post - This is were you would send and receive letters/packages for other Webkinz pets.

    Can anyone explain how to do the newspaper delivery job? The directions do not show up, and after many, many attempts, do not know what is supposed to be done. Any help appreciated! Thank you!
