How to grow a garden in Webkinz World

You should start a garden today if you do not already have one. If you do have a garden then keep it growing and expand it. Gardening in Webkinz World is a great way to keep your pet happy. You can also use the produce that you grow for food or sell it for Kinzcash. You can earn Kinzcash pretty quick from gardening. Different items sell from 6-10 Kinzcash. So if you grow a batch of strawberries you can sell them for 6 Kinzcash each or a mellow for 10 Kinzcash. That ads up quickly.

When laying out your garden make sure that you can walk your Webkinz pet through the different sections. This makes it easier when you are raking, watering and harvesting from your garden. Below I will describe the basic ways to tend to your garden. You can only plant a garden in an outside room, so if you do not have one you will need to purchase one.

webkinz garden seeds First thing that you will need to do is purchase your seeds from the Wshop. You can purchase any number of seeds, you can start your garden with one pack of seeds if you wish. Important note is that each pack of seeds will plant one square in the garden. So if you want a6×6 square planted you will need 36 packs of seeds. Currently there are seeds available for the following items (Cabbage, Carrots, Corn, Pumpkin, Strawberries, Tomato & Watermellons).

Once you have purchased your seeds you will need to plant them. Planting them is very easy, just drag them each pack of seeds from your dock to the place in your garden that you want the item located. You can move them around if you need to. You should try group your veggies together by types, this makes it easier to see what you have growing. One idea I had was to plant seeds on different days, this way items will be ready to harvest at different times. If you plant all of your seeds in one shot everything will need to be attended to at one time. It’s also nice to leave walkways for your Webkinz pet to walk around in, I like to zoom in and see the garden closer up when tending to the plants. This makes it easier to see and click on each plant when watering and harvesting them. You can also see the weeds so that you know which items need to be raked.

You can see the move feature, it works in the same way the you would move other items. It allows you to rotate the item or move it to a different spot in your garden.

In the picture above you can see the difference between a live plant and a decorative one. Not sure why you would want a fake garden plant but they are available. Just thought that you might want to know that there are fake ones so you don’t purchase it on accident.

webkinz garden menu Next on the list would be how to access the garden menu. Once you have planted your seeds you will need to access the garden menu to perform your daily duties. Just walk your Webkinz pet up next to one of the plants and then click on the plant, it will ask you if you want to begin gardening. The garden menu will then pop up in the upper left corner, you can slide the menu around if it’s in the way of someting. From this menu is where you perform the gardening duties. You can inspect the plant to see what it needs, I will show this below. You can also water plants, use the rake to remove weeds, use the dig to remove old dead plants and harvest the ripe veggies.

The above picture shows how to use the inspect feature. To inspect the plants simply click on inspect from the garden menu. Then hover the icon over each garden square. The tool will tell you whether the plant needs water, raking, harvesting or is growing fine. This is a great way to do daily checks to see what your garden needs.

By growing your Webkinz garden you will have the benefit of healthy food for your pet or you can sell it for quick Kinzcash. Hope that you enjoy gardening and see your are in Webkinz world.

    This didn’t help me at all! I wanted to know how I start a garden STEP BY STEP! I draged seeds to my room and it said it is only used for outdoor yards!!!! Help ME!

    you are being very silly, if you read the article properly then you would notice that you have to buy a yard if you dont have one and THEN plant them!

    but this article is very very good, help me lots!:)
